Stephen L. Tvedten, the Author, has field tested Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with (and without) Peppermint and has found that at a rate of 1 oz. per quart of water this patented cleaner quickly and safely controls even resistant lice, ants, insects, mites, fungus, mildew and mold. Aphids and spider mites can be controlled at a rate of only 1 part enzyme cleaner to 500 parts of water. The secret is in the naturally occurring protease enzymes, peppermint and various GRAS surfactants the Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint contains.

An insectivore plant will literally digest the insects it traps with enzymes. Spiders inject enzymes to pre- digest their prey and every molting insect uses enzymes to create a chemical "zipper" so it can open and slip of its exoskeleton. When Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint is sprayed even on resistant insects, they literally melt. There simply is no way for insects to become immune or resistant to enzymes, surfactants and oils. It is the perfect Pestisafe™. In addition, virtually every fungus and mold is consumed - remember the old laundry soap ads with enzymes that had a pac man-like creature eating stains? Well, Safe Solutions, Inc. enzymes not only eat stains, dirt, etc., they also "eat" insects and odors, athlete's foot and ear fungi, bacteria, viruses, ear mites, plant diseases, ticks, fleas, lice and nit glue, ringworm, planters warts, etc. The Author has seen Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint help wounds heal quickly and found the enzymes quickly give relief to skin infecting rashes and irritations from burns, bites, stings, poison ivy and the like. The Author has also used Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint as an insect repellent.

The Author has found that 1 oz. of Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint will control any insect or arachnid pest within a few seconds. Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint will often give up to 4 weeks residual control for many, many pests. Food-grade DE will kill insects and fungus by dehydration and the Author eats a teaspoonful every day.

In addition, Stephen Tvedten, the Author, who is chemically sensitive, has replaced virtually every cleaner in his home and now only uses various dilutions of Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with or without Peppermint to shower with, mop with, shave with, wash his clothes, clean floors, walls and carpets, wash windows, clean roofs and siding, clean his pets, brush his teeth and shampoo using only this wonderful product - the only caution the Author has to make is do not put Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint into your eyes - like the enzyme cleaners for contact lenses, these materials can burn the eyelids and the debris and materials they clean off your hair should not be put in your eyes. Some people may be more sensitive and should read the MSDS and lab tests found at http://www.safesolutionsinc.com.

CAUTION: If you try any of these alternative controls, we still want you to test them first on a small area of skin to see if you or your family react to them and then test a small area that you want to treat, wash, clean or spray to see if they cause your plants to burn or to make stains and/or cause any sensitivity. Many times using even less product in your water will give you virtually identical pest control, so always try less before you spray more. The first rule is to always do any control as safely as possible. Don't rush! Plan your attack so nothing is hurt but the pest. Think before you act.
